Imagine. Energetic music starts playing. The course is set. Ready, set, go! Children begin jumping, crawling, balancing and dodging their way through our obstacle course. The favourite, our motorized ‘gauntlet.’ Kids try to avoid getting hit by the swinging sponge noodles.

(Our Magnitude obstacle course has given so many children hours of fun at their elementary schools.)
Martial arts games
Completely organized martial arts games, led by a black belt certified instructor, there’s no chaotic running around. Our birthday parties are structured so that children can have fun together, as a group. Depending on the age of the kids, we can customize the curriculum. We show basic martial arts moves including punching and kicking into bags. We even have the birthday child break their very first karate board! Finish up your kid’s party with a game or two of dodgeball or survivor.
Birthday party breakdown
Parties are 1 hour and 45 minutes in length. The first hour takes place in our large indoor Mississauga studio. The floor is matted and soft to ensure safety. The remaining 45 minutes takes place in an adjoining room which seats 24. The birthday party room is decorated with balloons, streamers and tablecloths in neutral colors. We also supply bowls for chips, etc. if needed.
Note: We have a fridge to store cake or an ice cream cake upon arrival.
Availability: Birthday parties are held on Saturdays or Sundays (12:00-1:45 pm, 2:00-3:45 pm or 4:00-5:45 pm).
Party information:
Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes
First hour of the party: Parents may set up in the party room during this time and are welcome to watch their kids in the studio.
Remaining 45 minutes: Parents are responsible for the remaining 45 minutes in the party room. We ask that the party please be contained to this area. No running around please! Parents are responsible for the supervision of the children and to provide all food and beverages, as well as cups, plates, cutlery, tablecloths and napkins. Please ensure guests stay in the party area during this time.
Invitations: We provide invitations at no extra cost. Please pick them up at our Centre.
Minimum of kids: The party cost is for 10 kids, including the birthday person. There’s an additional fee for extra guests. A charge of $30 will be added for an extra instructor for any birthday parties with over 15 guests.
Payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit card, cheques and cash. Payment must be received in full at the time of booking.
Refund and credit policy: No refunds. Credit may be issued if booking is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the event. We cannot provide credit or reschedule the event after this period. Birthday credits must be used within 2 months of the original booking.
What to wear? No uniforms are required, just comfortable clothing. No shoes can be worn on the sports mat.
Arrival time: Parents of the birthday child may arrive 10 minutes early for set up. Please don’t arrive earlier as we have other classes or parties prior to your kid’s party. Please have each guest sign in with their name and contact number.
Departure time: Please ensure that the party ends on time and that all belongings are removed, as the space is booked for other parties or events.
Rules for safety and respect
- No running, climbing or jumping outside the studio.
- No wandering outside the designated areas.
- No touching the computers or Magnitude supplies.
Cost
$150.00 + HST for 10 guests including the birthday person.
$15.00 + HST for each additional guest.
